This 44GS 55th Anniversary watch is offered in a limited edition of 1,200. The words Limited Edition and the individual serial number are engraved on the case back alongside the lion which has been the emblem of Grand Seiko's strength ever since was first presented in 1960.

Stainless steel exterior with screw case back. Glass material is box shaped sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on inner surface. Case diameter measures 36.5mm, lug-to-lug is 42.7mm and has a thickness of 11.6mm. Bracelet band measures 18mm in width and is secured with a three-fold clasp with push button release.
