Founded by Lee Michaels Berg in Baton Rouge, Louisiana over 45 years ago, the Berg family has proudly owned, opened and operated 10 retail locations across Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and New Mexico with a multi-generational legacy of traveling the world to find the finest gems, loose diamonds, timepieces, and giftware by the world's most distinguished designers and craftspeople. We are a renowned family-owned jewelry store committed to offering the very best in value, service and selection.
Each member of the Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry consultant team is educated through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and proudly carries an Accredited Jewelry Professional certification. Many of our consultants have continued their studies and earned the title of Registered Jeweler and Graduate Gemologists and are able to provide expert advice on purchases of new jewelry, design of custom jewelry or tender care in the repair of special jewelry pieces that are passed down from generation to generation.
