One payment provides coverage for your jewelry and watches for three years, allowing you to enjoy it worry-free!

Fine jewelry and watches need maintenance and repair from time to time due to normal wear and tear. Our jewelry protection plan provides these services, providing you peace of mind.

INCLUDES:

• Ring Sizing – limited to two times during the protection plan period
• Restringing of stretched or broken pearl strands
• Repairing of cracked or thinning ring shank
• Soldering of broken chains and bracelets
• Clasp Replacement
• Discoloration of metal content
• Repairing of worn, broken or bent prongs
• Earring repair including broken earring posts or backs
• Distorted or dented jewelry
• Knotted chains and bracelets
• Cracks, chips or scratches of diamonds or gemstones
• Diamond or color stone tightening
• Rhodium plating – limited to (3) three times during the protection plan period
• Replacement of any missing stones equivalent to or below 0.05 carats (Equivalent to or below 5 points)
  

 WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:

Lee Michaels Extended Protection Plan does not cover excessive or abusive treatment of the jewelry beyond normal wear and tear. In addition, the protection plan does not cover:

• Loss, theft or damage resulting from theft, loss, misuse, abuse or Act of God
• The extended protection plan doesn't replace any other warranties/guarantees applicable to the merchandise – it is supplemental
• Customer abuse or damage resulting from failure to comply with recommended services and/or maintenance
• Jewelry which has diamonds, gemstones or other components supplied by the customer
• The extended protection plan is not available after the original sales date
• The extended protection plan can be canceled within 30 days of original sales date for a full refund.  Proof of purchase and purchase date is required.
• Lee Michaels extended protection program is not transferrable and only applies to the original purchaser, or to the person receiving the merchandise as a gift.
• This extended protection plan is only for items purchased from a Lee Michaels store location.

What To Do If Covered Merchandise Requires Service

Access to authorized services under the Plan is a phone call away. Simply call 1.888.865.9330 and file a claim over the phone. Once service is authorized the merchandise should be presented to any of our Lee Michaels store locations. This requirement applies to in-store purchases covered by the plan. Unauthorized repairs or service (including any modifications, alterations, repairs or service by anyone other than Lee Michaels may void plan coverage).

Your Responsibility

Care for your jewelry according to the instructions from Lee Michaels Fine Jewelers. This includes periodic inspections to check for loose prongs and other potential problems.

In consideration of payment of the plan fee, Lee Michaels jeweler will furnish labor and materials necessary to maintain the merchandise referenced by the sales invoice, in an usable and wearable condition, provided such service is normal merchandise wear and to the extent that any and all provisions of underlying plan have been properly met. The terms of this plan shall commence on the date of the sales invoice and continue for the term of three years. All maintenance/repairs shall be completed at any of Lee Michaels locations, or by a repair center of Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry’s choice. Nothing herein shall obligate Lee Michaels to repair or replace materials resulting from excessive or abusive treatment of the merchandise. This plan applies only to the use of this merchandise under conditions for which it was designed and does not cover loss or damage resulting from fire, flood, sand, dirt, windstorm, hail, lightning, earthquake, theft, misuse, abuse or acts of God.  Loss or damage resulting from failure to comply with recommended services and/or maintenance under such plan is not covered.  In no event shall Lee Michaels be liable for consequential damages or delays in rendering service under this plan, or loss of use during the period that the merchandise is being repaired or otherwise awaiting parts. Parts may be replaced with others of like kind and quality.

 NOTE: Unauthorized repairs will void this plan. This plan is nontransferable. This plan is for the benefit of the original customer or receiver of the merchandise as a gift. The plan fee is non-refundable. This instrument sets forth the entire agreement between the parties, and no representations, promise or condition not contained herein shall modify these terms.

DEFINITIONS:

"Plan" means this Extended Protection Plan. 

"Plan Price" means the purchase price for the Plan as shown on Your sales slip. 

"We", "Us" and "Our" means Lee Michaels Fine Jewelers. 

"You" or "Your" means the original customer who purchased the Merchandise or original receiver of the Merchandise, in the case of a gift, covered by the Plan.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

Nothing herein shall obligate us to repair the merchandise other than as a result of normal wear and tear. This plan does not cover excessive or abusive treatment of the merchandise. This plan does not cover loss or theft of the merchandise or damage resulting from loss, theft, misuse, abuse, or Act of God.

The plan does not replace, but supplements, any other warranties/guarantees applicable to the merchandise. You must and shall perform all maintenance on the merchandise required by any applicable underlying plan to maintain the merchandise in usable and wearable condition, as provided in said plans. Damage resulting from failure to comply with recommended services and/or maintenance under such plans is not covered.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY:

Our total liability under this plan is the purchase price paid for the merchandise as shown on the sales slip. If the total value of all authorized services we provide under the plan exceeds the purchase price of the merchandise (as shown on your sales slip), we shall have satisfied all obligations owed under the plan. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, NO MATTER WHAT THE CAUSE, INCLUDING DELAY IN RENDERING SERVICE UNDER THIS PLAN, OR LOSS OF USE DURING THE PERIOD THAT THE MERCHANDISE IS BEING REPAIRED OR OTHERWISE AWAITING PARTS.

NO DEDUCTIBLE:

You are not required to pay any deductible under the plan.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS:

You must provide care and maintenance of the merchandise as described. You must maintain possession of your sales slip, which will serve as identification of plan purchase as well as identification of merchandise covered.

TERM:

The term of the Plan shall commence from the date the Plan is purchased (as shown on the sales slip) and shall continue for three years for the original customer, or original receiver of merchandise, in the case of a gift, subject to our limit of liability as stated above.

CANCELLATION:

Cancellation by You. You may request cancellation within thirty (30) days on jewelry and fifteen (15) days on watches from the original purchase date of the plan (as shown on your sales slip) and if no services have been provided to you under the plan, then the plan is void and you will receive a full refund of the plan price. To cancel the plan you must contact the Lee Michaels location where the plan was originally purchased.

Cancellation by Us. We may not cancel the plan except for non-payment, fraud or material misrepresentation by you. Notice of cancellation by us will be sent to you at least thirty (30) days prior to cancellation and will state the effective date and reason for cancellation. If We cancel the plan, you will receive a prorated refund of the plan price (based upon an assumed duration of the plan, solely for cancellation purposes, of three (3) years less the value of any plan services received.

LIMITATION ON TRANSFER:

This plan is only for the benefit of the original customer or original receiver of merchandise, in the case of a gift. It is not transferable to anyone else.

FULL FAITH AND CREDIT:

Our obligations under the plan are backed by our full faith and credit. The plan is not guaranteed under a service contract reimbursement policy. The plan is not an insurance policy.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT:

This document, and to the extent referenced in this document, Your sales slip, set forth the entire agreement between parties with respect to the plan and no representation, promise or condition not contained herein shall modify these terms.
